RED STAR SHINES ON FULTON
Macy’s has re-invented the
Fulton Street Mall shopping
experience with state-of-the-art
dressing rooms featuring exotic
wood and modern upholstery.
The new dressing rooms also have introduced expanded seating areas with flat-screen TV’s. New focus has been placed on enhancing the assortment and improving the quality of merchandise. Full Article
New Bank Deposited on Fulton
Bank of America, a leading financial institution that recently merged with Fleet, is opening a branch at 350 Fulton Street. In New York, Bank of America has invested over $2.7 billion dollars in the areas of housing, economic development, and small business since 1999. “Bank of America is in business to help make communities stronger,” says President and CEO, Kenneth Lewis.
In addition to Bank of America, in past months, we have seen many new retailers, including Zales, Finish Line, Forever 21, and TGI Friday’s move to Fulton Street Mall.

Snow Removal and Sidewalk Maintenance
5,000 Pounds of "Snow Be Gone" Used to Date 
Recent snowstorms have been handled with ease and efficiency by the management of Fulton Street Mall. With more than 40" of snow this season so far, over 5,000 lbs. of calcium chloride have been used to melt the snow/ice. Snowfall up to 5" is covered under the Fulton Street Mall maintenance contract with Atlantic Maintenance. Snowfall more than 5" is removed at an additional cost per/inch. After each snowfall, the crosswalks and pedestrian ramps are cleared of snow and ice.
A ten-foot wide area of the sidewalk, measured from the store window to the curb, is also cleared of snow. While the repair and replacement of sidewalk pavers has stopped with the onset of Winter, over the last 18 months approximately 3,000+ square feet of pavers have been reset or replaced. Paver repair will start again with the warmer weather.
